Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber Both Deserve Better
Beliebers, beware.
Three weeks ago, Hailey Bieber appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast (which for some reason has not rebranded despite it transitioning from a sex podcast to an interview show) and finally answered some long-awaited questions about the blurry timeline of her relationship with her husband Justin Bieber. More specifically, she addressed whether or not her relationship with Justin overlapped with his famous ex, Selena Gomez.
As expected, the First Lady of Pop said, "…period, point blank, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody,” which like, whatever. Maybe she believes that to be true, but the evidence does not support this claim.
The women were subsequently photographed together at the Academy Museum Gala on Saturday, October 15.

Between the years 2014 and 2017, Justin was spotted on dates with a lot of women. Those women included Hailey Baldwin and Selena Gomez in addition to Brooklyn Beckham’s now wife, Nicola Peltz and several other models.
Justin would also spend time with Kendall Jenner, seemingly when he was on the outs with one of the main girls.
He also seemed to go on a few dates with Kourtney Kardashian.
There was virtually no time between Jelena breaking it off and the Biebers getting engaged.
An important piece to this is the influence of the Hillsong Church on not only the Bieber’s relationship, but this group of celebs as a whole.
The docuseries on Discovery+ entitled “Hillsong: A Megachurch Exposed” delves deep into the church’s marketing strategy of recruiting celebrities to attend the New York-based services as VIPs. The now disgraced pastor Carl Lentz (pictured above) and the Biebs became super tight. The pop star even moved in with Lentz and his wife during 2017. It’s been speculated that Justin was pressured into marrying Hailey due to the church’s extreme views on purity. To go down that rabbit hole, start here.
In addition to the fuzzy timeline, there are countless videos of Justin being borderline abusive (my therapist’s words!) towards Hailey.
Exhibit A: Justin slamming the door on her.
Exhibit B: Justin abandoning Hailey to escape paps as she falls to the ground.
Exhibit C: Justin screaming at Hailey in Vegas following a show.
Exhibit D: Justin telling Hailey to stop touching him on IG Live.
Considering the blurry timeline, the back-and-forth and the many instances in which Justin has been publicly disrespectful to Hailey, it begs the question: What the fuck do these women see in him? Only a few years prior to this, he was peeing in mop buckets, purchasing monkeys, and getting arrested for drag racing.
Now that Selena and Hailey have been pictured together indicating the end of their feud, we can only hope that Mrs. Bieber sees the light. #FreeHailey
