Zach Bryan is a country crooner who burst onto the mainstream country scene in 2022 with his certified-platinum single ‘Something in the Orange,’ which peaked at #10 on the Billboard Top 100 and earned him an GRAMMYS for Best Country Solo Performance. His album, ‘American Heartbreak,” debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and earned him three GRAMMYS for Best Country Song, Best Duo Performance and Best Country Album.
Despite his rocket launch to fame and acclaim, Zach is better known for the trail of broken hearts left in his wake; Most recently, Brianna LaPaglia of Barstool Sports. Bri, sometimes referred to by her former TikTok username, Brianna Chickenfry.
Bri and Zach were both in separate relationships when they first met at the ACM Awards in May 2023 where they took a photo together but didn’t talk for long. He later slid into her DMs and they each ended their relationships in June, fueling dating rumors immediately. She later confirmed their relationship on her podcast before the pair made their red carpet debut.
Their relationship has oftentimes been the subject of scrutiny due to Zach’s storied history (more on that later) and the suspected overlap with their previous relationships, however the couple appeared solid. Earlier this year, Zach purchased a $7.5 million house in Duxbury, Massachusetts, near Brianna’s hometown of Boston.
Last week, Zach announced his split from Brianna after a screenshot of his Raya profile was posted on Reddit. Brianna said she was “blindsided” by his decision to go public. She then posted a YouTube video where she cried on her bathroom floor and detailed the heartbreak she was experiencing
Zach’s Checkered Past
Zach married his ex-wife, Elisabeth, in 2020. The pair, who met in the Navy, called it quits in under a year and got divorced in 2021. There are rumors that he sent her divorce papers while she was deployed.
Zach then immediately began dating Deb Peifer for a little over a year. Like with Brianna, Zach bought a home near her hometown of Philadelphia before breaking up with her and moving on with Bri. Deb has since urged her followers to show kindness to Bri and emphasized that she does not revel in others’ pain.
