About Kiara
Kiara McKinney is a seasoned publicist-turned-creative, and host of The Spin Cycle Podcast.
Kiara is a lifelong pop culture junkie and media enthusiast. In fact, she was voted Most MySpace Addicted by her 8th grade class. After graduating from The University of Alabama’s highly acclaimed PR department, she went on to have a successful career in media and marketing.
Now, she is married with two cat children and focuses her time on creative consulting and content creation. After years of friends and colleagues encouraging her to start podcasting, she bit the bullet and started The Spin Cycle, first as a podcast and later adding the newsletter in 2022.
